Pierre & Vacances Residence Le Green Beach

The apartment was compact but still roomy enough for our family of four. The internet was much better than we expected and let the kids keep in touch with friends. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were clean and comfortable. It's ideally placed for trips to the Normandy beaches, Bayeaux, and other spots. From the lovely check-in staff to the facilities, everything was excellent. A real gem.

Reception staff were friendly, and breakfast was good, though expensive. The location is lovely, with peaceful surroundings and beautiful views, but there are no shops or restaurants nearby. We rented a house meant for six, but even with just two adults and a baby, it felt too small. The beds were really bad and hurt our backs. It was also very dirty, with mold on the bathroom tiles and curtains that looked like they had never been cleaned. For something meant to be four-star accommodation, it desperately needs renovation. Nothing is provided, not even salt and pepper.

The resort feels a bit old and worn, but it's very clean and tidy, and the outdoor heated pool is massive. With a renovation, I think it could be amazing. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for its great central location.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the local village has plenty of amenities. The private residences are nice and feel like a home away from home. It's a lovely location and a great base for exploring Normandy.
