I was unsure what to expect after reading the reviews, but this campsite turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The pitches are spacious, with a tree for shade and bushes between them, and there’s a roomy seating area. They’re a bit bare, with no grass, though I assume that’s the Mediterranean climate. The amenities were clean and the pool was big enough. I don’t understand the completely negative reviews, unless I somehow ended up at a different campsite or people expected something else. It was night 13 of my 15-night cycling trip, and I’d stayed at all sorts of campsites along the way. The kids’ club and family fun went on until 10:30pm, which was my one complaint. That may not seem late if you’re not cycling around France, and this was the only campsite I saw with anything like it. The families seemed to enjoy it. At €19 for two people, the price was about average, and some places charged more for half as much.

Camping was okay, but our trailer had been double booked and we had to wait a couple of hours for another one. The staff tried to help, though they spoke very little English.
The staff were friendly, and the pitches were well kept.
The reception staff were extremely helpful!
We arrived and left by train, and got around on foot for shopping, beach trips, and restaurants. Everything is near the campsite, which made things really convenient. The setting is lovely and the staff were helpful. My daughter learned to swim in the pool, and we loved the snack bar’s tasty food, including pizza and fries. We even watched a football match on the pitch right next door. It’s a great town for a family holiday. I also loved having waffles on the beach and seeing the magnificent fireworks on August 15th!
