Les Cabanons de Mémé Jeannette

It’s hard to get tired of the view across the vineyards to the sea. Our place at Les Cabanons was roomy and very comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, and they were good quality. We also loved how quiet the little village was. Port-Vendres is only 5 minutes away.

The owner made a real effort to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. From the cabin, the sea views are lovely from both the bed and the jacuzzi, and there’s free parking just above it. Breakfast came in a basket, sweet and savory, delicious and generous. An extra pillow and an outlet for charging electric cars would be nice, though that’s a very minor quibble. I highly recommend this place. 👏

We had a wonderful time, and we’ll be back. The terrace looks out over the sea, making the excellent breakfast basket pure bliss. The place has comfort and authenticity in a fabulous setting, and the jacuzzi was perfect for recharging. Yves gave us such a warm welcome. We booked a room with a spa included in the price, and it was large, spacious, and unlimited. My wife and I loved it. There are vineyards in the foreground and the sea beyond, a lovely setting for a bit of much-needed peace and relaxation. The room was top-notch, with a huge, incredibly comfortable bed and a view so good we watched the sunrise from it. Breakfast was very complete. We’ll definitely return.
