We’d happily stay here again. It was a great place to stop on our long drive from Switzerland to Spain, with a warm, friendly, professional welcome and a very clean room. We got the best night’s sleep we’d had since leaving home: the bed was super comfortable, and the room was completely dark and quiet.

The golf shop beside the hotel is worth a look, too. The restaurant is tucked behind the lobby and a rather nondescript parking area, but it’s well worth finding for its local specialties and lovely atmosphere. The duck breast was impeccable, and the sommelier’s wine suggestion paired well with it. Service was professional and attentive.

We had dinner on the restaurant terrace, where the food was delicious and the service was surprisingly good. The €24 menu is good value, and the “blanquettes de poisson” tasted great. My friends all said they’d definitely come back.

The parking in front of the hotel is nice, and the staff were kind. The room was otherwise okay, though the bathroom felt a bit dated. Hearing the neighbours’ water was somewhat annoying.

A decent, quiet and relaxing place for a quick night or even a weekend. It’s small, but has the amenities you need and keeps things simple. There’s a Chinese place opposite, which is nice.
