The beach was the highlight for us: clear water that gets deep quickly, plus free parasols for hotel guests. We also liked the big restaurant, where we never had to queue for a table, and the food was excellent. Breakfast could use more fresh vegetables, though, and the pizza line at dinner got long every time. Having some pizzas ready ahead might help. Our room was small, but spotless and had air conditioning. We did miss having a fridge, although water fountains around the hotel were handy. The staff were especially kind and helpful. They spoke some English, but menus, price lists, activity schedules and entertainment programs were all in French, so we had to rely on Google Translate. One thing to keep in mind: street-facing rooms can get noisy at night, with nearby clubs playing music until the early hours. We had a wonderful family stay.

The place has a cosy, village-like feel, and it never seemed crowded except around the buffet. We got there at 9am, before rooms were due, and they gave us ours straight away, which was a lovely surprise. The view from the glass balcony is exceptional, and although the airport is close, we didn't hear the planes. The beach is gorgeous, with lovely water and sand, though the way down to the water is quite steep. There’s plenty of entertainment, too. Our group included two children under six, an adult using a walking aid, another with limited mobility, and three other adults. The staff were young, friendly and helpful. A big thank you to the kids' club team, especially Bubu for his bonne humeur. The children's pool is a great investment. The adult pool is right beside it, so it wasn't a place to relax without kids; we went to the beach instead. The beach seats are old and not very comfortable. The man setting up umbrellas didn't seem to have anything to rescue someone with, so keep an eye on children. The buffet was decent but the food was often the same, with few healthy breakfast choices. If you really care about food, this may not be your place. We had full board but still had to pay for some things or keep asking what was included, which was confusing. A few things could be better: there was never toilet paper in the bathroom by the pools, despite it being the closest one for kids. The food could have more variety and better quality. We only heard near the end from other guests about the restaurant option. It was a nice break from the busy buffet, but apparently not everyone is told about it because seating is limited. Why were some guests told at reception and not the rest of us? Coffee at buffet lunch and dinner would also have helped the two people in our group who struggled to walk. When we asked for help arranging a private van tour or boat trip because walking was difficult for us, we were told to look online or contact the person directly. Despite those issues, we'd come back for the location and the lovely staff. Thank you.

The peaceful setting made it easy to relax, even though there was entertainment from after breakfast well into the evening. Music, games, poolside aerobics and water sports by the sea kept things lively without taking over the whole stay. I had a delightful time at Hotel Club Marina Viva in Corsica and would definitely return. Meals were served in a spacious restaurant, with seating indoors and outside where you could enjoy the sea breeze. There was a wide choice of dishes for different tastes. Guests came from various countries, including many older adults, and the atmosphere felt warm and friendly. It's a lovely family getaway, or a good fit for anyone wanting both activity and calm while looking out over the Mediterranean Sea. I'd recommend it.

Really pretty spot, and so close to the beach.

We usually book Belambra, but for this trip we needed somewhere for the first week while going to the south and then north of Corsica. Belambra was full, so we ended up here, and it turned out to be a great surprise. It felt more fun and personal than Belambra, if you know that model. We stayed in one of the self-catering flats across the main road from the beach. The grounds are lovely, with grass and big trees for shade. From outside the villas look a little dull, but inside ours was comfortable, nicely air-conditioned and impressively soundproof. That mattered because the bars nearby play music at full volume, but closing the door cut it out completely. The staff were lively and fun, the beach was good, and there were lots of nightlife spots and places to eat nearby. We didn't try the restaurant, though its menu looked good.
