Camping Golfo Di Sogno

The whole site is well kept, the staff are very friendly, and the location is perfect, with direct access to the beach. It’s the best camping in Southern Corsica, and I’d recommend it 100% 🥰

The location is stunning, and at the end of May it was quiet. We had a perfect, relaxing vacation in the air-conditioned wooden chalet right on the beach. There’s not much room inside, but it’s functional, and the bathroom is very, very tiny. Outside, there’s a table and a plancha. I had a wonderful time and will definitely come again.

The setting is lovely and the staff are pleasant, but the bathrooms were a real letdown. There was no toilet paper or soap, and the showers only ran either cold or hot since you couldn't adjust the temperature. That's especially awkward with kids. When I asked about the missing basics, a staff member said the French steal them, so putting paper out would mean it vanished right away. I did see my soap disappear from the sink after about 30 seconds. Maybe people wouldn't take it if they had proper handwashing supplies. If you're happy carrying your own paper and soap everywhere, this place could work for you.

We had a great time here, with plenty of room for tents as well as several cottages. The campsite sits right by a beach and is surrounded by a river on Corsica's southeast coast. When rain and thunderstorms rolled in, we were able to switch at short notice from our cosy tent to a wooden cottage with its own bathroom, kitchen, fridge and freezer. The staff were lovely and spoke French, Italian and English, and some also knew German. There happened to be a circus show there too, which we watched.
