Everything else was perfect, but Room 14 had a bad smell coming from the shower drain.

Fabulous stay. The location and hosts were great, and the quality was top class.

The place feels special, as if someone once looked out over the valley to the sea and decided to share that view. Check-in at the campsite reception was friendly and professional. They explained everything in English and gave us a detailed German guide covering arrival, the barrier, the stay, and departure. There were also digital directions with photos, though we didn't need them: Google Maps took us there reliably, and signs were already posted along the road. The site sits on a slight rise, and the access road is steep in places. We found it completely manageable and normal for Corsica. Our regular small car handled it easily. A lowered vehicle would face challenges in many parts of Corsica anyway. We'd expected much worse from some reviews. The whole complex was beautifully maintained. Thanks to the receptionist and Sebastian, we were able to stay in a two-bedroom apartment for adults, and we're grateful for their kindness. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everything was exceptionally clean, the pillows, duvets, and mattresses had extra protection, and the towels and linens were spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The standard was very high. The pool area was clean, quiet, and relaxing, with plenty of loungers. Since we visited in the off-season and many guests were out exploring during the day, I had it almost to myself on some days. With temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius, it was a dream. The pool rules are clearly posted before you enter, so everything there felt relaxed too. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The place itself is clean and beautiful, apart from a couple of small things that need fixing. But what happened during our stay really affected it. At the pool with our daughters, we accidentally brought our flip-flops despite the clear sign, which we hadn't noticed. A French couple was there too. The Frenchman called someone, who came over, leaned on the railing, and stared at us while they talked. Then he whistled to get our attention and politely pointed out the pool rules. My husband apologized three times and took the flip-flops outside. The man stayed arrogant and then watched us from behind a hedge. He also spoke to me in a very rude tone. Once back in our room, I asked to speak to the manager, who apologized right away, and we considered it settled. Later, someone called us whose connection to the manager we didn't understand, asking what had happened. We explained and said it was already resolved for us. Reception later told us the pool manager was the manager's father, who built the campsite and residence. Knowing he lived next door made us feel watched for the rest of the stay. We also noticed he didn't treat other people who shouted around the pool the way he treated us Italians. We live and work in a tourist city, so we know dealing with visitors isn't always easy. But to us, courtesy means not whistling at people, calling them names, or treating them as if they don't matter, especially when they haven't stayed for free. We won't stay here again.
