The staff were very friendly, and the toilets were older but clean. We were there early in the season, so we could choose among several pitches, though ours was quite uneven and took some effort to find a level spot. It could also use more care: old trees have left it overgrown, but it’s still dusty and has a forest-like feel. The campsite is fairly close to the city, though walking there and back adds up. The location is okay beside a traffic road, but we couldn’t hear it at night. This part of Porto Vecchio isn’t very attractive, with a mix of industrial and suburban development and poorly maintained sidewalks into town. The toilets had no paper or soap. We didn’t try the restaurant or pool since we left the next day.

The pool is lush, and the toilets and showers are modern, clean, and well kept. It’s very close to the centre and surrounded by shops, which makes the location handy. The woman at reception really helped me with an issue and went the extra mile. I’m giving four stars because the road inside the campsite is a mess, and the trees need trimming and cleaning around. A bit of wildness is nice, but from a **** campsite I’d expect more.
We stayed in a POD, a fairly new kind of accommodation at the campsite. It’s a small bungalow for two or three people, but well equipped and has an outdoor table for meals. We asked them to add a fridge for €5 per day, and everything worked out great. Friendly staff, a good location, and decent prices. We really appreciated our stay.
There were lots of ants, which was unfortunate, but we’d still highly recommend this campsite. The swimming pool is very nice, the sanitary block is well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a little way from town, though the free Citadina buses mean that isn’t a drawback, and there’s a supermarket nearby. I’d have given five stars if there were tables or benches for guests on foot, perhaps some picnic tables in the tent area.
A lovely site among pine and cork trees, where you find your own pitch in the woods. Reception was very helpful and shared lots of local information. The swimming pool is excellent. The town centre is about a 40-minute walk, with a shuttle bus taking you halfway. The restaurant wasn’t open in May.
