Htel Le Mistral

Great location, and the Portuguese cleaning ladies were amazing. It might work for a short stay, but our standard room, especially room 124, was extremely noisy and bright. It was right by the stairs, so we kept hearing people going up and down, as well as the shower next door. There's no soundproofing.

The gated car park was very handy, and the receptionist was helpful. We had breakfast for, I think, 16 Euro, with a good range of hot and cold options, and they gave us useful dinner suggestions too. Le Mistral is just a couple of minutes' walk from the centre. Our room was big enough, with good air conditioning and a nicely presented bathroom. We'd stay again.

The streets are narrow and busy, so having the hotel's car park was really useful, even with the fee. The hotel is lovely and right in the centre of Porto Vecchio. The staff were extremely helpful when we needed to change our booking after the free cancellation period. Merci!

The planted terrace was a real highlight, a nice spot for breakfast, drinks or just sitting out in the evening. Staff were lovely, and the location is very central. It's a chic modern hotel with beautiful rooms and decor, though a few practical details let it down: the TV wouldn't connect to Chromecast because it was set up by cable instead of wifi, the bathroom heater didn't work (not a problem in summer), and the designer sink splashed water everywhere. At breakfast there was no cold milk or muesli, just cornflakes and chocolate flakes.
