San Giovanni

This family hotel is clean, well located, and has spacious rooms that are cleaned daily without needing to ask. The food was very good, with excellent local products. The jacuzzi and sauna deserve a special mention, and the staff were available and accommodating. When our return flight was canceled, the receptionist found us a room right away and even gave us a discount. Congratulations and thanks to the family members who work day and night to make the place good and help guests feel comfortable.

We spent a memorable seven days here in August, and our spacious, comfortable room had a charming private garden overlooking the surrounding park. The hotel sits in the heart of nature, and its pond with frogs and turtles added a magical touch. We also enjoyed the excellent facilities: a refreshing pool, sauna, and jacuzzi, along with massages and treatments you can book to relax body and mind. We had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant, l'Impatients, and loved the food. I especially recommend the reginette with wild boar and the aubergines à la bonifacienne. A great choice for a restful trip with time to explore Corsica.

The garden and pool looked even better in person than in the pictures, and the service was spot on. Everyone was kind and in a good mood. It’s close to Porto Vecchio, Palombaggia, and Santa Giulia. If it’s available, just book it! You can’t go wrong here.

Nice place for a night or two, and the pool is a plus, but I wouldn’t stay longer. There were lots of mosquitoes in the evening and the food here is expensive. Better to drive five minutes into town.
