The villa was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed, though the second bedroom felt very small and a bit claustrophobic. The views across the harbour to the sea, mountains, and Porto Vecchio were beautiful, and the place was so peaceful. The garden hedges gave us some privacy while still leaving the view open. The pool is huge, with a separate children's pool fully fenced for safety. Getting in and out was difficult, though: the bottom rung of the ladder is very high, and my friend with a replacement knee really struggled to climb out. The loungers were worn, and without shade or umbrellas it was impossible to stay by the pool when it got very hot. We just got back after two weeks and would love to come again one day.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the spacious apartment was great. Both pools were large and clean, and the tennis court by the bay was magical.

The Wi-Fi was the one weak spot, though the whole region seems to have limited bandwidth. If you're looking to disconnect on holiday, that could be a plus. Everything else was ready for the season and nicely clean. We got a starter kit with a sponge and dishwasher and washing machine tablets, which was a great touch for any length of stay. The staff were kind, welcoming, and spoke English. There are two pools with plenty of loungers, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The balcony/terrace BBQ was built in and came with utensils for cooking and turning the food. We had privacy and freedom, while still being close to town and roads south, plus a tiny beach at the bottom of the resort.

The apartment was spacious and very clean, and the place had a pool. I couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work properly, so I didn't use it.
