After our 12-hour journey, we were left waiting for more than 25 minutes, even though closing time was approaching. The waiter wearing glasses had seen us a couple of times but never greeted or helped us. When we called him over, at 9:55 pm, he said there was no food and offered no other option. I’d translated everything so I could speak with him, but he didn’t seem to listen or make any effort to understand English or be patient. I know we’re in France, but you’d hope a place would try to communicate with its guests. I have to say, it felt racist. We’re very disappointed.

The food and wine were tasty and very good value. The dining area was clean and nicely presented, with a relaxed feel, and the staff were friendly and spoke several languages. I’d definitely come back.

The rooms were clean and just right, and there was even a TV. Such a gorgeous little hotel, with really friendly people and good food. Fantastique!

I’ve eaten here about 8 times and haven’t been disappointed yet. It’s an unfussy place, everything’s cooked in house, and the prices are good. Love it.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful spot. It’s a great base for seeing the local area, with Lourdes literally just around the corner.
