Marielu 2

We loved staying at Marielu's so much before that we came back for a weekend. Everything was ready when we arrived, from the made-up bed to breakfast with coffee and tea bags, shower gel, shampoo, and even dish soap. The hosts have thought of all sorts of useful extras: a washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, oven, hairdryer, space heater, pellet stove, high chair, and a travel cot with a mattress. The host had put sheets on the cot before we got there, so we only had to unpack. There's a little terrace for sitting in the sun, and the driveway is wide enough to park right in front of the house. That made carrying our things much easier, especially with a baby in our arms. And the price is attractive too! 😉

The house was cozy inside and felt brand new, and the welcome was so warm. The host speaks fluent English and has a real sense of service. Everything seemed to have been thought of to make the stay pleasant. It's a peaceful base for enjoying the banks of the Loire and tasting delicious Pouilly-Fumé wines. There are several houses available, so you can come with family or friends. I'd recommend it if you're looking for somewhere quiet to discover our beautiful France.

The bungalow is all white, clean, and fully equipped, and sits in a garden. It's a shame the highway is only a few dozen meters away, which makes it hard to relax outside. With the patio door shut, though, there's no noise indoors. Shops are a 10-minute walk away.

A pleasant stay in Pouilly, in a beautifully decorated house with a very large garden, a children's play area, and a BBQ available. The host was very friendly. Highly recommended.
