The owners were really helpful and spoke English, which I appreciated since I'm still learning French and mine is pretty bad. We had a quiet, lovely night in September with just three other campervans on site, and everyone was very considerate. The pitches are spacious, screened by hedges, and the whole place is beautiful. There's a natural pool, though we didn't dare try it. A games room with French books and a separate fitness room with a sauna give you plenty to do if it rains. I'm not used to shared-gender toilet and shower facilities, but they were spotless.

The facilities were impeccably clean, and the natural pool was lovely. We had a large shaded pitch and found a nice walk nearby. The campsite is beautiful and peaceful, with a pleasant patio and garden and a bar serving local craft beer and cider. The owners made a real effort to welcome us and gave us lots of ideas for things to do in the area. 100%.

Having the campsite meadow for a short dog walk was handy, and there are plenty of lovely walks around the region. For longer walks, though, you'll need to drive, since there isn't a direct connection to the long-distance trails. We were attracted by the rural setting, with its trees and farmland, and the site's environmental ambitions, as well as the very welcoming staff. But our experience was spoiled by a group of bikers camping nearby. They were loud and intrusive. Maybe we were unlucky, but I think a quiet, small campsite like this should have turned away a group like that. What a pity.

We felt right at home here, thanks to the owner's warm welcome and the clean facilities. It's a small, friendly place, full of flowers, with spacious pitches screened by hedges. We loved its eco-friendly approach and the natural swimming pool, and would highly recommend it.
