The owners were lovely and full of useful tips for exploring the Pyrenees, whether for hikes, sightseeing, canyoning or caves. We found a huge, beautiful apartment right in central Prades, with two ensuite bedrooms and a kitchen stocked with everything needed to cook, including plenty of dishes, a kettle, toaster and coffee maker. Downstairs, the games room has table tennis, darts and board games, and there’s a lovely garden with a BBQ available. Parking is free. If you’re there on Tuesday, the town market is huge; Lidl is about a 15-minute walk and there’s a Spar just around the corner. Highly recommend.

What made Les Loges de la Suite unforgettable was Sylvain and Solange. Solange gave us a warm welcome and a helpful introduction to both the accommodation and Prades, including suggestions for boulangeries and pâtisseries. They were easy to reach throughout the week and went above and beyond to help us. I won’t share the details, as our situation may have been unusual, but their kindness meant a lot. Seeing them around town felt like running into friends. My daughter and I also loved the central location, the tastefully restored historic building, high ceilings, roomy spaces, comfortable beds, and views across the garden to Canigou. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

We had fun in the games room, and the rooms were big and luxurious. The location right in the center of Prades is great. The scenery and towns in Pyrenees Orientales are beautiful!

We visited in August 2023, and even in the heat the apartment stayed cool and comfortable. It’s upstairs, but that was no issue for us. The place is quiet, right in the center, and renovated with real taste; the shared areas are pleasant too. Sylvain welcomed us so warmly and clearly loves the region. He had great suggestions for walks and hikes.
