The reception staff were charming and welcoming, and the owners seemed like a very charming couple. Still, I wouldn’t stay here again. In the morning, there were insects everywhere, including Asian hornets. The walls were stark white, almost like a hospital, and the other guests seemed uneasy around people with a bit of a tan, if you know what I mean. The stairs up to the apartments were covered with construction scaffolding, and the neighbours kept going up and down them constantly in the morning. You might as well go wild camping. I promise this is exactly how it was.

The grounds were beautifully kept, and the pool was lovely. We were pleasantly surprised after reading such negative reviews. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although we arrived after 6 pm, everything was ready for a proper welcome. If we’re back in the area, we’ll definitely book here again.

We should have listened to all those negative reviews. We spent two days here instead of the planned week and left early because, with a young child, the heat was unbearable. During the heatwave, the room was over 40 degrees Celsius and even at night it was hotter inside than outside. The main shutter was broken, with no obvious sign it would be repaired, leaving only a black curtain over the south-facing bay window for privacy. The tiny balcony was dirty and had no parasol, so we couldn’t use it. We had to mop the floor twice because the water kept coming up black. The toilet leaked, there was a basin on the floor, and flushing meant opening and closing the water supply valve. We asked the relevant department for compensation and got none. It may be cheap, but there are limits. It feels like profiteering, and it’s shameful. Please don’t send us automated messages. At departure, though, we did meet some lovely staff members. Thank you to them.

The outdoor facilities were just like the photos, and we were able to use them. The staff were welcoming and attentive, even with a few unexpected problems: a wasp nest on the terrace, two pillows missing, and cleanliness that wasn’t great, among other things.
