Donna is worth her weight in gold, and Darren’s cooking was so good that everyone at the wedding called it the best food they’d ever had at one. My husband and I got married at The Priory this weekend, and our family stayed for a long weekend. The whole team made us feel at home and looked after us throughout. Paula has been helping me plan for the past year and a half, from flowers to meals, while I was thousands of miles away in the US. She helped make our vision real, and we’re so grateful. The Priory is as stunning as the pictures, but somehow even more special, especially that unbelievable garden. It was an enchanting experience, and we hope we can come back. Many thanks to everyone who made our day special.

The outdoor pool was great fun, and a roaring fire made the place feel extra cosy. The bedrooms were beautifully presented, with lovely comfortable beds. It’s a peaceful rural spot for birdsong and walks in the countryside, and the host was friendly. A very relaxing stay.

Paula was generous, flexible, and fun to have as a host. We stayed in her houses, and « La Tour » stood out for its lovely decor and charming feel. We’ll be back as soon as we can.

The pretty garden and pool are especially nice when you want to get away from the crowds. It’s a charming place to stay, with a charming hostess, and makes a lovely base for a couple of days exploring the countryside.

A bit different from your usual B&B, with a wonderful host.
