There was nothing particularly special about it.

The castle feels like a grand family home, full of authenticity and original character. Its lovely interior made the visit feel like a privilege, almost like stepping outside ordinary time. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking, and the whole place is so peaceful. A little bubble of calm away from the realities of the world.

The meals were all delicious, and the staff deserve a special mention for their kindness and dedication. They really went out of their way to make the stay perfect. We had an extraordinary family holiday here, in a place that felt worthy of a 5-star hotel. Thank you for such a perfect stay in your beautiful region.

The price was reasonable, the owners were charming, and breakfast was very complete. We were pleasantly surprised by this spectacular Château just a few kilometers from Pau, set in a privileged spot. The rooms were enormous, with high ceilings and fireplaces, and the towels were fluffy with spotless sheets. The food and wines were excellent. We hope to return very soon, you couldn't ask for more. The review repeats these points several times, with the later version also mentioning very clean sheets, pleasant breakfast, and soft bath towels.
