Les Naturelles Insolites

That barn where we had our meals was such a charming little place, and we really liked the decor. Breakfast was generous, the bathrooms spotless, and everything was very clean. We spent two wonderful nights as a couple in a suspended tent, surrounded by peaceful nature, and waking up there was lovely. Loriane welcomed us so warmly, and the targeted back massage was wonderfully relaxing when we arrived. Mila, a very good dog, kept us company too. We’ll definitely come back.

After staying in the gypsy caravan, I came back for a second visit, this time in the treehouse. One night is way too short! The owner is welcoming whatever the hour, and Mila the dog and the little cats are there to greet you in the morning. The meals in jars were delicious, and I loved the sauna. I also bought their buckwheat honey, which is delicious. Such a unique, super romantic place.

We stayed August 29th to 31st, 2025, and never even left the property. We felt so comfortable there, with complete privacy for the whole weekend in our suspended tent, tucked into the forest. The sauna on Saturday night was wonderful, and the shower and toilet area is really beautiful and pleasant. The sauna costs extra. The place is magnificent and decorated with great taste, especially given that it's mostly made from recycled materials, largely wood. The welcome was fantastic. I loved walking through the forest at night, though remember to bring a flashlight since the owners haven't put in streetlights. The sounds of nocturnal animals and trees creaking in the wind, along with fireflies that are becoming rare, make the starry night feel magical. It's an authentic nature experience, and there's a treasure trove of edible wild plants too. Breakfast and packed lunches are available on site. I recommend it 200%, and can't wait to come back to try the superb treehouse and the shepherd's hut, the cutest little caravan!

The shower has a motion detector, so remember to wave at the top left now and then to switch it back on. Otherwise, you might get a surprise mid-shower! We had a lovely stay at Naturelles Insolites, starting with a warm welcome from the host's daughter. We chose the hanging tent, a special experience I'd recommend to nature lovers and anyone after something different. We worried about mosquitoes and rain beforehand, but neither caused us any trouble. Breakfast was simple but fine to start the day, and the premises, including the showers, were impeccably clean. Shared-space cleanliness also depends on other guests being considerate, though staff were responsive and quickly sorted out any problem I reported. The service was attentive and the facilities well maintained, making it a great unusual, exotic stay. If you're bringing children, please keep them calm, especially at 8 a.m. It's not very pleasant then.
