We usually never go back to the same place, but I can see this becoming our yearly escape. It was quiet, clean and comfortable, with a view that calmed us the moment we arrived. Guillaume welcomed us so warmly, and his generous, delicious cooking made the stay feel special in every way. It was a precious pause from everyday life, and did us a lot of good. You can go without hesitation, you’ll be made to feel very welcome.

The evening meal is well worth having at Les Balcons de Saint-Apollinaire. Guillaume is both professional and very friendly, and a fantastic cook. We had a wonderful stay, with lovely decor, high-quality bedding and a fantastic jacuzzi adding to the comfort. It’s peaceful, in a beautiful setting, with an exceptional south-facing view and an ideal spot near the ski resorts. Well done, Guillaume, you did it! See you very soon ☺️

Dinner at Guillaume’s was the highlight, and we enjoyed the whole stay so much. The room was decorated with great taste, and we didn’t lack for anything. The lake view was stunning, and the location was superb.

The food is excellent, and Guillaume’s warm hospitality makes the stay even more relaxing. We loved the peace, the comfort, the mountain scenery and being surrounded by nature. It’s the kind of getaway that leaves you feeling lighthearted. All the glowing reviews seem deserved. Everything you’d hope for in a perfect stay is there. One small tip for future travelers: book through Gîtes de France instead...

We’ll definitely come back and tell everyone about this incredible place. Guillaume is a very good cook, too. The room was magnificent, with soft, fragrant linens and very comfortable bedding. There was also a large terrace looking out at the mountains, absolute silence, and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Excellent stay, everything was perfect!
