The rooms were very clean, the location is beautiful, and the pool was amazing. The kitchen was perfect too. The service, though, wasn't very good. The WiFi didn't work at all. We were told it would be fixed while we were there, but it never was. The toilets were also a problem from the day we arrived. Flushing them repeatedly still left them dirty. Someone came to look, but without success. Still, the location is great.
The pool and garden were great, and the kitchen and washing room were amazing. The Chateau is beautiful, but the owner wasn't very helpful. The toilets overflowed and couldn't be used, and instead of fixing them we were told to clean them after each use. The wifi didn't work at all either. After reading the owner's reply, I want to add that we did get our full deposit back. We wouldn't have received it if we hadn't cleaned up after ourselves. The toilets were a problem from the start of our stay, and recent reviews have also mentioned the malfunctioning bathrooms.
There was plenty of space to sit back and relax, and the clean, spacious garden was lovely. The pool was great for swimming and unwinding with family and friends. I had an amazing holiday visit to Château de St Aunay in the South of France. The owners were friendly and welcoming. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area who wants a peaceful holiday.
The Château de St Aunay is in a very peaceful area, just right for relaxing and recharging. I had a great experience there. The owners were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing holiday.
A quiet, very clean cottage among the vineyards, with all the equipment we needed. Beautiful place, highly recommended!
