The lack of an after-hours reception left us with only a machine on the wall, and arriving late with a young family was frightening. The place looked like a ghetto, with people smoking on balconies and cars racing around the car park. The rooms were filthy and smoky, and the toilets hadn’t been cleaned. It felt more like a prison. At least prisoners get WiFi and a TV in their cells. 👎👎👎

A simple place to sleep and shower, and a welcome bit of rest for my family. The accommodation is minimalist.

We just needed somewhere to crash for a night between two destinations. For 60/70e, I wasn’t expecting more from a budget motel. There’s a bathroom and toilet in the room, though it’s quite small. The room has a double bed, plus another bed on a mezzanine, which was handy with one child along. Taller guests might appreciate the layout.

The room was fine, the beds comfortable, and breakfast okay. But the guy at reception was grumpy when we arrived. He wouldn’t help us sort out our door cards, though he served the French couple who came in after us. They saw us struggling with the automatic kiosk and suggested we go straight to reception. We were turned away three times, while he gave room cards to two other French couples. Was it because we’re English?

The room reeked of cigarette smoke. We left the window and door open for the first two hours, but it made no difference. Absolutely disgusting. I won’t stay with this chain again.
