The house looked like a normal local home from the outside, but there was loads of room across its three floors for adults and kids to spend time together. We had parking out front, a garden at the back, and logs in the cellar for a cosy night by the fire. I was there with work colleagues, though I’d happily come back in summer, maybe on a motorbike trip. The countryside setting is lovely, and the roads around it look amazing.

We found it easy to unwind here, with tourist attractions nearby but enough distance for some peace and quiet. The cottage is beautiful and fully equipped, and it works perfectly for families with young children.

There were eight of us for a lovely weekend, and the owner welcomed us so warmly. The cottage is beautifully decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and it had everything we needed.

The welcome was friendly and really polite. Inside, it’s very cosy and beautifully decorated, with a separate games room that has pinball and darts. A+++!!!
