We visited just before the harvest was due to start the following day, and the owners still took time to let us taste their wines. They were very friendly, too. I just finished the last bottle of Raiz white that I bought directly after the winery tasting. It's such an interesting, brilliant wine. Their natural sparkling wines are worth trying as well. If you're nearby, seek the place out.
Bruno and Thama are so charming, welcoming, and creative. I'm no wine expert, but I think this is the best wine you'll ever drink, especially Pleine Terre. It's biodynamic and made without sulphites, yet the wine is cultivated and vinified with real passion, expertise, and love. Every bottle is worth the price, and I get no headaches.
When we visited in 2022, everyone was so friendly and lovely that we wanted to stay and buy every bottle. We returned in 2024 and were welcomed like friends. We left with enough bottles to last us a while.
Their natural sparkling wines and reds are well worth a visit. Highly recommend them.
Well worth visiting this excellent winery, run by a Brazilian from João Pessoa in the Northeast. Alongside the winery's older labels, ISA comes in white, rosé, and red, and Camille Leonie is a red. BRUNO TRIGUEIRO DE ARAÚJO also created his own wine, the red “A Deriva vers la nature,” an organic wine from the Languedoc region. It recently won a gold medal at the prestigious Elle à Table competition, from the Hachette group.
