Peter's slow-cooked pork was unforgettable, especially the crackling. When the timer broke, he turned it every 30 minutes for 8 hours, starting at 6am. Over our 4 nights at La Veronique, the two of us, mature but NOT OLD New Zealand women, almost felt at home. Sally and Peter welcomed us warmly, even when some friends of ours unexpectedly joined us. We came and went and swam in the pool. Thank you, Sally and Peter. We've already recommended your wonderful Villa.
