The "La Cocagniere" website is no longer active. The guesthouse at Camp Sylvestre is a good fit if you want peace and quiet or are interested in Cathar history, with its famous castles nearby. The friendly owner has paid attention to every detail, even painting the room walls with natural ingredients.

That hot tub outdoors, at 31°C under the stars, was simply wonderful, and there’s also a lovely heated pool. The setting is magnificent, with charming, cozy rooms and a beautiful view. We were welcomed warmly and personally, and enjoyed delicious gourmet meals in a friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was exceptionally varied and generous. Highly recommend it.

There's a generous breakfast, with plenty of homemade jams to choose from. The food is excellent and made with produce from the garden. The hosts are lovely, and the rooms are magnificent. If you need somewhere quiet and welcoming to recharge, come here. You won't regret it.

The mountain range views are lovely, and breakfast is especially generous, with a wide choice of homemade local jams and honey. This is an exceptional guesthouse run by lovely owners. We would be delighted to come back, and recommend discovering it wholeheartedly.
