The pool was a highlight, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We spent a week here in our caravan on this huge municipal site. Our pitch was enormous, mostly screened by hedges, and the place was quiet apart from busier weekends. The facilities were clean, with a shower, toilet and basin in each cubicle. The washing-up water ran at an awkward temperature, but we managed by using the big laundry sink. There’s a café and bar that seemed popular, though we didn’t try them. A large supermarket is about 8 minutes away by car, while a few shops are within walking distance; the town also has a market and plenty of stores. It’s well placed for exploring, and I especially recommend the water lily garden.

We found it easy to get around from here, with a bus stop right outside for Villeneuve-sur-Lot and the ancient village of Pujols. I’d drive to Pujols, though. The walk through the woods was a tough one, and especially rough with my hay fever! The campsite itself was spotless, with good-sized pitches and great facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, a bar and a restaurant. The team are very friendly and speak fluent English. It’s also an ACSI member. A lovely site and area, well worth visiting.

The team made us feel welcome and valued, especially Ophelia, who leads them with such a cheerful, lovely manner. They know the area well and were exceptionally helpful and friendly, so we’d happily recommend the site and come back. We originally planned just a two-day stop in April 2022 on our way home from Spain, but ended up staying seven nights. The grounds and gardens are well cared for, and the large, level pitches have 16amp electricity and Acsi discounts. Facilities are modern, plentiful and spotless. There are plenty of interesting places to reach on foot, by bike or by car. One of the best municipal campsites we’ve stayed at.

The free bus to the nearby historic towns was a nice bonus, and we had an enjoyable stay. Our motorhome pitch was spacious and well laid out, with 16 amp electricity. The showers are modern and really good, and the staff were friendly and helpful, with English spoken. Thoroughly recommended.

A peaceful, fairly priced place to stop while touring the Le Lot cycling route. It’s very cyclist-friendly, with somewhere to store your bike and charge your devices.
