The apartment worked perfectly for a week's skiing, and I love the setting. There was a small administration mix-up with the deposit, but it was handled kindly and professionally. I'm sure I'll get the extra amount refunded. If you're unsure about anything, just email them, they reply exceptionally fast.

The scenery is lovely, and there are nice walks to take in summer. My experience with the local people was disappointing, though. I tried speaking French, but in the places I went, people seemed to pretend they couldn't understand. Some locals came across as irritated by tourists and disrespectful. They seem to forget their work depends on tourists. I don't recommend it, even with such beautiful nature.

We stayed in a six-person apartment at chalet dame blanche, and it was perfect for us. The chalet feels cosy and roomy, with a direct view of the ski slope and easy ski-in, ski-out access. Prices aren't high. I'd recommend it.

The view is breathtaking, and the price is good value, but comfort-wise I'd say it's only right for four people. The small room doesn't have a door. Bring soap, dishwashing tablets, a sponge, toilet paper, and bed sheets, and remember to do an inventory check when you arrive. There's a coffee and tea machine, a toaster, and a kettle.
