The place itself feels like an open-air museum, and it’s a great starting point for a long forest hike. Our room was roomy and very clean, and the service was really good. Breakfast was nice and complete. I’d recommend it anytime.

We had a terrific Sunday lunch on the terrace, with delicious dishes presented beautifully. The cold options were especially lovely in the heat, and the hostess brought out a very nice dry Gaillac wine to go with the meal. Set across from the church in the heart of a beautiful village, this restaurant was a great find. Both hosts were warm and welcoming, and you could tell real care had gone into the menu. We’ll definitely be back.

Sophie and Greg were such lovely hosts. Fresh pastries and juice made for a delicious breakfast. We’d absolutely recommend staying here if you’re passing through Puycelci.

We were apparently lucky to get a dinner spot, since they’re not always open to non-guests in the evening. What a treat. My wife and I had one of the nicest meals we’ve ever been lucky enough to enjoy, three perfect courses, and the chef even came out to talk through the meal with us. I’m not going to list the whole menu, but the strawberry and basil sorbet with the other dessert items was such a surprise. Strawberry and basil, who knew? Thank you 😍
