We needed a car, since there aren’t many places to visit or restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself was really cute and cozy, with a spacious room and a very comfortable bed. David was incredibly kind and helpful, too. Everyone in town recommended the hotel restaurant, but we couldn’t try it because we were there for a wedding and had dinner events every night.

We haven't stayed overnight yet, though we imagine the rooms would deserve five stars too. We live nearby and keep coming back to Cap de Castel, always sure to leave happy. The garden is mesmerizing, with a stunning view across the landscape to the snow-covered Pyrenees. It's a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the Occitan countryside. The hotel is beautifully designed, and its charming rooms have been restored with care.
