The bedding was top-notch, and breakfast was generous. The accommodation was comfortable and had a microwave and courtesy tray, which we appreciated at this time of year. In winter, though, check-in at 7 p.m. felt a little late.

The room was only a metre from the road, so it was noisy and sleeping in wasn't possible. You could hear absolutely everything from the breakfast kitchen right below. On top of that, the owner said the website had made a pricing mistake. We had booked for three people, but she charged us an extra €20 when we arrived, even though the error wasn't ours. A disgrace, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We had a confirmed booking with availability, and we paid half by Visa as requested. After cycling there from Surteinville, we got an email that afternoon saying a system error had caused the room to be overbooked. It would have been awful to arrive for nothing without internet access. That's a bad situation.

This was our second visit to the guesthouse, and the welcome was just as friendly as before. The renovations have been done beautifully, and the independent studio comes with free access.

We had a very warm welcome and found the room spotless and well equipped. It was quiet, with private parking, and breakfast was excellent. We'd highly recommend it.
