It's a convenient, practical place for a night, though not a pretty location. The seafront is a 10-minute walk away, or about 15 minutes if you go through town. The hotel has 12 parking spots, but you need to reserve one in advance; otherwise, you have to hope for a free street space.

The rooms have been freshly renovated, and it's well placed, about 5-10 minutes on foot from the main beach. The breakfast room felt like my school cafeteria: too many tables, it was crowded, and there wasn't enough ventilation, so the air felt bad. All in all, just okay, no more.

We spent a week here and would use the hotel again next time. Getting around was easy, with the beach, train station, supermarket, city, and harbour all less than a 10-minute walk away. Our family booking gave us two connected rooms, which was very practical. For this kind of IBIS hotel, both rooms were a good size and modern, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Each had a balcony. Service was good, and we were fine with the room not being serviced every day since the hotel is trying to be more environmentally friendly. Guests who support that can get a free drink. Breakfast was very good by French standards, and a perfect start to the day. Merci.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and lovely to deal with. For a three-star hotel, it ticks all the boxes. I've stayed twice already and have booked again for next year.
