The food was amazing and really tasty, and the staff were super friendly. Their foie gras was the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant interior feels a little dated, and the hotel itself has that classic older-hotel feel, but everything was clean and comfortable.

We had a great dinner, especially the generous cassoulet, and the magnificent buffet breakfast was a lovely start to the day. Our bicycles were safe in a nearby garage. The host was helpful and welcoming, and our clean, comfortable room had air conditioning. It’s a traditional hotel with a personal feel. We highly recommend it.

The cassoulet is a must. This was an excellent Logis, with a splendid restaurant and simple but decent rooms. Parking was free and easy, right across the road, and the sights around town were within easy reach. Recommended.

The local Cassoulet was especially good, and Jan cooked us a magnificent meal in the hotel’s beautiful restaurant. We met Michel, the owner, when we arrived on our motorbike trip through France, and he gave us such a warm welcome. We felt wonderfully looked after and would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a friendly, inviting stay.

The Flemish lady who introduced breakfast made the petit dejeuner feel truly grand, and breakfast itself was very good. Dinner was superb, with delicious traditional French cooking and good wine. This family-run hotel is in a superb spot in the middle of the Cartharroute. Mr. Cartier was also very accommodating and let me leave my car in his garage for eight days. I’d love to come back.
