The meals were presented beautifully and tasted great, and the prices felt very fair for the quality. Our whole party also appreciated the warm welcome, attentive service, and good wine. Thanks to the staff and chef for such a lovely evening.

The salad was the best part of my plate. The chicken was dry, and there wasn't much of it. I didn't enjoy the food, especially for the price.

The breakfast was a letdown, and the service wasn't good either. The interiors also felt cheap.

The trout was simple but tasted very good. Its presentation and color fell short of the photos other customers had shared, and the side was a bit basic. I wasn't asked about it. I did appreciate that they removed the trout's head, since seeing it puts me off my food. Thanks for that thoughtful touch. The eggplant, goat cheese, and tomato mille-feuille starter, by comparison, was exceptional and beautifully presented. It was a good meal.

We all enjoyed our visit. La truite de la Loue is a lovely place near the Pont de Quingey, right by the river, and the atmosphere is warm whether you're inside or, when the weather allows, on the terrace. The staff are friendly and happy to offer advice. There are set menus and à la carte options, and the food is generous and delicious.
