The river swimming and both pools were a real highlight, and there were plenty of things to do around the area too. Les Vignes suited us perfectly, with a peaceful setting and great facilities on site. Our accommodation was spotless and finished to a high standard. We also enjoyed chatting with Alain about the grape harvest. Thanks to Celine and Alain for a lovely holiday.

When the river Aude looked as if it might overflow and flood our gite, the hosts quickly moved us to a more expensive apartment on the first floor without charging us extra. They were so friendly, and the service was excellent. The place had a wonderfully quiet, relaxing feel.

Between peaceful evenings and walks in nature, there was plenty to enjoy at L'Aube des Temps. The accommodations felt welcoming and worked perfectly for a family break. It's a magnificent place with a timeless feel, and we'd happily come back.

Everything was ready for us to feel at home as soon as we arrived. The welcome was warm and the facilities were impeccable. Such an ideal, restful place. Thank you. ✨

We were really disappointed this time, especially since we stayed here in 2013 and came away delighted. The Loft itself is beautiful, and we did have a lovely time, but the condition of the place and the services let us down. We were told on arrival that the hammam and sauna were limited to one session per family. It would've been useful to know that beforehand. We were also informed that electricity was capped at 4 kWh per person, or 140 kWh for 5 people. We were careful, but still used 240 kWh and got charged €25. On a rental costing over €1800, that felt petty. The hot water smelled bad, and both the jacuzzi, with cloudy water, and the outdoor pool were dirty. The terrace had broken glass, and the loft interior was dirty too. Of the three bay windows, two had broken roller shutters, leaving the kitchen completely dark during our stay. The outdoor fridge on the terrace couldn't keep a steady temperature and froze everything.
