The rooms upstairs aren’t very soundproof, so we could hear every word from the four-person room. That was the only downside. Our apartment itself was spotless, with a lovely view, a little office with a desk, and a bathroom and toilet in separate rooms. The bed was comfortable, and after a good night’s sleep we had a delicious, generous breakfast. Parking and Wi-Fi were trouble-free. We were welcomed warmly and loved all the antique clocks, statues, paintings, and books throughout the house. There are two guest rooms, one for two people and one for four, plus shared access to the breakfast room, reading room, terrace, and garden. We would have stayed longer if we hadn’t been heading home.

The cottage overlooking the garden was just right for another stay, with apple trees and birds around us. This is now our first choice whenever we’re in the area, mainly because Ms. Souriau always makes us feel so welcome and takes such good care of us. The house and grounds are lovely, the amenities are excellent, and the nearest neighbors are donkeys and geese :) Sun, our dog, was very happy that pets are welcome too. We have no complaints; the place met all our expectations.

It’s a lovely, welcoming place for a quiet holiday, surrounded by greenery and well away from everyday stress. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, with large beds, and everything feels clean and homely. The hospitality was excellent.

The house is very clean, the owner is friendly, and the old furnishings are in very good condition. Breakfast was a generous French spread. It’s a real backwater, though there’s still a dog barking and donkeys braying. We didn’t check out dinner options, which are 8 km away. Parking is by the house and free internet is available. There are about 10 steps, so it isn’t suitable for wheelchair users.

It’s so peaceful here, with a great breakfast and a lovely setting. The accommodation was great, and the hosts were really friendly and accommodating. You could easily stay longer. Thanks to the lady of the house, we’d be happy to come back.
