La Réserve Ramatuelle - Hotel, Spa and Villas

The indoor pool is lovely, and children aren’t allowed there. Rooms are beautiful, and breakfast is top notch. This feels like a great hotel for couples without kids. One thing to know: although the website says there are five restaurants, only two are at the hotel, one open for lunch and the other for dinner from 7:30 pm.

We had a lovely stay at La Réserve Ramatuelle in 2021. Everything felt peaceful and thoughtfully designed, with gorgeous sea views. The staff were attentive without hovering, and the whole place had a calm, refined feel. A great spot to relax and take in the charm of the Ramatuelle area.

The setting is wonderfully quiet, with La Réserve Ramatuelle perched above the Mediterranean and beautiful views all around. The property has a refined feel, and the mix of natural scenery and luxury creates a magical atmosphere. It’s a secluded, high-end escape with impressive amenities and service. We especially loved the spa. The treatments were tailored to what we needed, and the wellness programs felt comprehensive and carefully designed. With skilled therapists and such a peaceful atmosphere, we left feeling refreshed and renewed. The food was another highlight. Meals featured fresh local ingredients and creative Mediterranean flavors, with lovely presentation. Dining was an experience in itself, made even better by the restaurant views.

I came back for a second stay hoping it would be better than my fairly mediocre visit a few years earlier, but it still fell short of what I’d expect from a high-end place. The villas are charming, though small, and mostly spread over two levels, so don’t picture a spacious summer house. My pool level wasn’t well maintained for the price. The villa staff were polite and attentive, but there didn’t seem to be enough of them, and service suffered. I also tried the grill restaurant. The views were stunning, but the menu was limited and the discreet service was so forgettable it barely registered. The staff’s English could use improvement too, which surprised me at a restaurant that says it welcomes international guests.
