This was the most stressful stay. From the time we booked, the host kept harassing us with comments like “people like you always delay payments.” We got no service, and were even refused fresh towels and water. The place was unbelievably dirty. We tried hard to stay polite and not let it ruin our trip, but the host kept saying, “if you are not happy you can leave,” for no reason. The host was unprofessional and racist. Girls travelling alone, be very careful. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We paid 700 euros per night, which didn’t feel worth the service, the house, or especially the way the host treated us. The rooms and house weren’t like the videos and pictures the host had sent, though they were otherwise fine. They were very dirty, and getting cleaning, fresh towels, or even water meant begging. The host came into the room unexpectedly and was rude and harassing. He refused requests, including giving us more than a small bottle of water every two days, and would say we could leave as if staying there were a favor. Worst service and host ever.

The rooms were old and not clean, and EUR 575 per night was far too much for what we got. Even booking was a hassle: the owner wanted the online Booking cancelled and would only take bank transfers.

Villa alba ist fantasic!!! The position is the best, 1 km to centre st.tropez and 1 km to beach!!! I stayed for a week and it was fantastic. The very generous and kind owner, mr.steve, is ready to help with suggestions or advice whenever you need.
