Hôtel Azur Reims

Friendly staff, a simple but tasty breakfast, and a very clean hotel in well-maintained condition. There’s no elevator. The nearby garage has box spaces that just fit a modern car like a Tesla 3.

Everything is an easy walk from this lovely little hotel in a central spot. It’s quiet, with secure parking nearby for a fee. Breakfast was reasonably priced and perfectly good, and the place was spotless. The staff were very helpful. I’d highly recommend it.

Lots of restaurants, bars, and cafes are close by, even though the hotel is on a quiet street in central Reims. The staff were friendly, and there’s secure parking nearby. Our room was small but comfortable, with a comfortable bed and an ensuite toilet and shower.

I liked how sweet, well located, and well priced this hotel was, but the bed was so uncomfortable that I wouldn’t stay again. I spent four nights in single room 11, and the mattress was incredibly hard. I woke with terrible back and hip pain and seriously thought about changing hotels after the first night. I stayed because my friends were there, which was more convenient. I told reception about the problem and asked for extra blankets to soften the bed, but they barely helped. I generally prefer a firm mattress, but this one felt like a slab of wood. A memory foam topper could make a big difference. I can’t say whether the beds in other rooms are just as hard. Otherwise the room was pleasant. You can hear other guests on the stairwell, and the bathroom is tiny, making it hard to move around in the shower, though tolerable for a few nights.
