LES ROTINS - 80m de la cathédrale

It was cold in the apartment because the heater wasn't working, and the building's front door was often left open, letting cold air in. That entrance was also in very poor repair. Moving from the bed to the shower room felt very cramped, and the pull-out couch was extremely uncomfortable. I wouldn't stay here again.

I was very disappointed: the room we got wasn't what the photos showed. Ours was on the ground floor facing the street, and it was impossible to get a restful night with all the street noise. You could hear even the conversations of people walking by. Better to sleep somewhere else, even if it means staying farther from the centre!

Les Rotins is right in the heart of Reims and has several types of accommodation. We stayed in the ground-floor Le Shop studio, which was well arranged and came with a kitchenette, Nespresso machine, fridge, separate bathroom and toilet, and comfortable bedding. A big bay window let plenty of light in from the street. Cleanliness was OK, though some finishing work around the window was needed and there were several clumps of hair in the shower, probably just an occasional oversight.
