Residhome Reims Centre

We arrived Sunday and left Wednesday, staying three nights across those four days. There was no cleaning service at all. After our long trip, we showered as soon as we arrived, and when we asked to have the towels changed so we could shower again during the stay, they refused. Surely we should be able to have another shower during our visit?

Our room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were helpful. Having guest laundry available was a bonus, and we’d happily stay again. We were on the fifth floor facing the railway, but didn’t hear anything thanks to the thick windows and good soundproofing. They also provided a fan.

Private parking was ideal, but you need to reserve it in advance. The location is perfect, and prices are friendly, so the value for money was probably okay despite us not sleeping well. The rooms are basic, and our main issue was no air conditioning and poor ventilation. With summer temperatures around 30 degrees, sleeping was pretty difficult. We had to open the windows to cool the room, but it was right beside a busy road or the railway station.

The rooms are spacious and clean, but the check-in staff seemed untrained. I struggled to explain that the invoice needed to be made out to a business address. They also told me at check-in that breakfast was included, then I learned at check-out that this was wrong. At 16 euros, breakfast is expensive.
