Villa Moncoeur is such a beautiful, charming place, and we loved every bit of our fantastic weekend there. We spent time by the pool and on the terrace listening to the birds, walked in the lovely woods, and visited Remiremont, just a 5 minute walk away. The hosts are warm, helpful, and professional. It’s one of those rare places where you don’t find yourself thinking of things you’d change or add. The breakfast was exceptional. We’d love to return in autumn or winter too.

That big room in Villa Moncoeur is gorgeous, a special place to spend time. The villa and garden are beautiful, and the rooms are lovely too. Rob and Marije were helpful and professional hosts, and breakfast was great. We had a very nice stay. Remiremont nearby is worth a wander, with some good restaurants and bars around the main square.

There are only 5 bedrooms, and while they’re large, there’s no air-conditioning. Pets are welcome, and the owners put a lot of effort into making the food interesting, even for vegetarians. A really charming villa, with an excellent swimming pool.

The hosts gave us great service in a well-kept place with a lovely family feel. It stays cool in both winter and summer. A really nice spot, recommended for couples, friends, and families.
