We'd planned to stop in Saint Omer, but chose this campsite just outside it instead, and I'm really glad we did. Calais is only a short drive away, so it worked well as a break on the way home. The village is an easy walk and has several restaurants. La Table de Romain was especially good. The site is quiet and lovely, with clean facilities and very friendly, helpful hosts. The website says motorhomes aren't accepted, but they are. Just give the hosts a call.

The welcome couldn't have been friendlier, and we had a great pitch. The neighbours were lovely too. The area is beautiful, whether you're coming from Dunkirk, about 45 minutes away, or travelling to and from the Eurotunnel. It's an easy 40-minute detour and made a lovely stop on the way. We could easily imagine spending a whole holiday here. Thanks :))

I wanted to thank the owner for such a lovely stay. Everything we needed was taken care of, and then some. The pitches are huge, the facilities are clean and good quality, and the host is fantastic. It's also really well placed for the Calais ferry. What makes it special is the quiet, family-run feel and how clearly the owner cares about the place. Please keep that same atmosphere. We're about to book again for this summer's trip, and I've been meaning to write this review for ages.

We only stayed for one night, though we would've happily stayed longer. After traffic made us arrive very late, the campsite owner stayed up, welcomed us, and showed us to our pitch and the facilities. They were clean, and the pitches had plenty of room. Around 7:00, we saw the owner bringing fresh bread to several pitches.

The owner was so friendly and helpful, and we'd definitely stay here again. It's around 50 minutes from Calais and 20 minutes from the lovely historic town of Cassel. There are lots of walks, supermarkets, places to visit, and things to do nearby. It's a lovely campsite, an easy distance from a lovely village. You'd be hard pushed to find better hosts.
