ibis Styles Rennes Centre Gare Nord

The staff were polite and helpful, and the reception area was spotless. The rest of the hotel felt dated and generally dirty. I won’t book here again. The corridors smelled of old, moldy furniture, and the worn carpets and mold all over the shower stall made the room feel unclean. A good dose of bleach might have fixed it, though some stains on the shower floor looked much harder to remove. The breakfast was reasonable, but for the price and value, the hotel performed poorly. I was disappointed.

Just one night, since I had an early train to catch. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were helpful, friendly, and smiling.

The beds were comfortable, the room was small, and the hotel was clean with a big breakfast selection. It was right by the central station, yet quiet once we shut the windows. But the glass bathroom door and wall were a deal breaker for us. The milky film didn’t give much privacy at all.

We paid a reasonable rate for one night and got a standard queen room for two that was much bigger than it looked in the online photos. It was clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The train station is a one-minute walk away, with lots of restaurants nearby, which made getting around easy. Even with the station and a main road close by, our room was really quiet.
