The location made getting around easy, with the railway station two minutes away and the city center about five minutes on foot. Even though the hotel is by a main street, I didn’t hear traffic from my room. I arrived early and was able to leave my bag until check-in. The reception staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and always ready to help. The room was comfortable, with a very comfortable bed, hot shower, hairdryer, coffeemaker and heating. One evening, I went to have dinner at the hotel, where they offer three options. None sounded good to me, but the receptionist quickly arranged a dish left over from the lunch selection. I found that really accommodating. I loved my stay here.

The staff were the highlight. I met three employees, all friendly, and the gentleman who checked me in was especially welcoming. The hotel is also only a five-minute walk from the train station, so the location gets extra points. I had a very pleasant stay and don’t quite get the negative reviews. Nothing was spectacular, but everything was more than adequate. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean, and there was plenty of space. The bathroom was a bit of a squeeze, though that’s pretty standard for a French or European hotel.

I’m in Rennes sometimes for work at Sciences Po, and it’s always a pleasure to stay here. The rooms are extremely comfortable, and the hotel is close to the train station with easy access to the town center. The first time I came, I was dealing with some very troubling family issues and wasn’t at my nicest. I’ve appreciated that the staff have still treated me warmly since then. They’re all excellent. Highly recommend.

Good price, a cute lobby and friendly staff, but our room was pretty gross. The table hadn’t been cleaned and there was something all over the walls. It’s not a good feeling to have to worry about that :(

The room was very basic, with almost no decoration. The bathroom was okay, but the rest of the room needed more cleaning. Breakfast was a bit sparse.
