Getting there takes effort since it's hard to find and difficult to reach by phone, but it was absolutely worth it. A magical, genuinely authentic place, with very kind hosts.

We especially appreciated having a locked courtyard where we could leave our bicycles. The room was comfortable, and our hosts were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious too. We slept very well, and even though we had to leave early, breakfast was excellent and offered lots of choice. The host was very pleasant, and we were first greeted by a big, friendly dog who doesn't bark at strangers. The guesthouse is ideally placed opposite the train station. I highly recommend this charming little town ⭐️

The owner is really welcoming and nice, and the dog and cat are lovely too. A quiet, clean place with large rooms.

The room at "Le Point Du Jour" feels like stepping back in time, with floral "wallpaper" everywhere. It's all tidy, clean, well cared for, and functional. The owner is very nice, though he speaks very little English. The cat may come in to greet you if you leave the door open, so that could be a downside if you don't like cats. Breakfast is good, with everything you need. I booked one night through Booking.com.
