We arrived in the evening after a long day of travel and had no room. They said there had been a double booking, which suggests the owners hadn't coordinated the reservations across the booking sites. They weren't there to help us find somewhere else; their son relayed the news by phone. It was handled badly, and being stranded on a busy August weekend when we were in town for a wedding made it worse. We'd seen other reviews describing the same thing, but ignored them and ended up in the same situation. I'd avoid this place and choose a hotel where you can be confident your reservation is secure.

We were made to feel so welcome during our stay for a friend's nearby wedding. The owners were exceptionally nice and helpful, and the house is beautifully placed in Riberac. Our room was large and very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and the hosts were charming and always happy to help. Highly recommended.

I was so uncomfortable that I ended up sleeping in my car. The room smelled and wasn't clean, and the bathroom wasn't up to an acceptable standard. I stayed here last night, but was very disappointed. I won't stay again.

Stayed one night in this charming, characterful old French townhouse in the town centre. The owner was a wonderful host.

Florence gave us a very warm welcome, and breakfast was generous. The accommodation is in the heart of Ribérac, in a large manor house with a swimming pool.
