Repos à Ribérac B&B

Breakfast was lavish and delicious, especially the jams. I stayed earlier this week with my brothers, and we took 2 rooms. Adrien and Vera welcomed us warmly, and we had a splendid time. The rooms were perfect and thoughtfully designed. Repos Riberac felt like a home from home, whether travelling for business or a holiday.

The hosts really know how to make people feel welcome. We had a lovely two-night stay while we were in the area for a wedding, and we'd happily come back if we're nearby again. Thanks, guys.

A short walk gets you to downtown, with its shops, cafes, and restaurants. Back at the retreat, our room was roomy and lovely, with a comfortable bed, big bathroom, and a nice breeze through the window. There were earplugs in case street noise bothered us, but we didn't need them. Moriah and Darrell were warm and accommodating, and paid attention to the details. Breakfast was a treat: soft croissants, fresh fruit, French-press coffee, and eggs made the way you like if you want them. We can't wait to visit again.

The apartment was peaceful despite Repos a Riberac being on one of the village's main roads. From the village, many interesting places, villages, and castles are about a half-hour drive. Vera and Aad were hospitable, happy to chat, and offered suggestions for places to go. We skipped breakfast since we had our own apartment and could make it ourselves, though it is available. We stayed three nights during our holiday. Vera welcomed us at 5 pm, gave us the keys, and showed us to our apartment. While most rooms are in the main building upstairs, ours was in a separate building across the small courtyard and garden, reached by outdoor stairs. Inside, the apartment felt warm and cozy. The spacious main room had dining and living areas, with a table for four, two large sofas, a coffee table, and attractive lighting and decor. The modern, large kitchen was extensively equipped, including a four-burner induction cooktop, oven, kettle, fridge and freezer, and a coffee machine for Nespresso or l'Or cups or equivalent. A small hall led to the cozy bedroom, with a double bed, plenty of storage, a chair, and decorations. The other door opened to a modern, fully equipped bathroom with a washing machine, dryer, walk-in French shower, sink, mirror, and plenty of amenities. Beneath the apartment was an open, covered porch with seats, so we could sit out of the rain when it came. Guests can smoke there or enjoy a glass of wine. We'd gladly return if we're back in the Dordogne, and recommend a stay with this lovely couple.
