À l'Aigle d'Or

Such a charming little hotel. We had everything we needed: a good breakfast, clean rooms, a quiet, restful night, and friendly staff. But it was the lovely setting that really stayed with me. The park looked like the perfect place to sit for a while and forget about everything. We were only there for one night, and I wish I could have spent a whole day just drifting around. I’d happily come back for a longer stay. Thanks!

The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast and dinner both deserved five stars. It’s a peaceful, romantic spot, and we had a pleasant stay in a nice, cozy room, though it could use a few touch-ups. There aren’t many options within walking distance. I imagine it’s best suited to hiking in the surrounding mountains, and you’ll definitely need a car to explore the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a little out of the way, but that does mean it’s peaceful, away from the city. We arrived late and still got a warm welcome. The rooms were clean and did the job, though I found the bed a bit small, and I’m only 157 cm! Dinner was excellent, including the food and wine, and the service staff were helpful and friendly. There’s also free parking for guests.

Dinner on the lovely patio came with a view of the forest around the village. The food was fantastic. We had seabass and cod, both cooked perfectly, with flavors that went together beautifully. The desserts were just as amazing.
