Hôtel Saint Georges

I've eaten here several times, and the food has always been good with plenty of variety. The trouble is the owner is temperamental and won't take criticism. She quickly calls people Parisians or bourgeois without knowing anything about their lives, then says, "we're just ordinary people here!" I drove my first tractor at 15. I also paid for my medical studies by working 14 night shifts of 10.5 hours each, in groups of 7 nights in a row, on top of everything else, of course.

The hotel is quiet, well located, and good value. When I first walked into my room there was a slightly strange smell, but opening the windows cleared it after a few minutes. Just a small thing to keep in mind. The hotel is fine overall, though I didn't try the restaurant.

The restaurant was excellent, with warm but discreet service. My room was on the first floor, to the right of the elevator, and was well heated despite what seemed like very thin interior walls.

The food was really enjoyable, and you should try the tripe and aligot. Breakfast was very good too, and everything was at a good price. I had a pleasant stay, with a quiet room and a very warm welcome.
